A service-specific proposal, order or statement of work takes priority if it expressly differs from these website terms.
Acceptance and eligibility
These terms govern your use of the DPPC website, accounts, careers portal, listings, proposals, bookings and related online services. By creating an account or submitting an enquiry, application or engagement, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must provide accurate information, have legal capacity to agree, and have authority when acting for an organisation.
Services, listings and proposals
Website content and listings describe the intended scope of DPPC services. A binding professional engagement begins only when DPPC accepts the request and the parties agree the scope, timing, deliverables and fees in a proposal, order, statement of work or other confirmation.
“Starting from” prices are indicative. Custom-quote work, including executive search and complex assignments, is priced after scoping. Availability, facilitators, venues and timelines remain subject to confirmation.
Accounts and acceptable use
- Keep sign-in details secure and notify DPPC of suspected unauthorised use.
- Do not misuse the website, probe security, disrupt service, impersonate another person, scrape restricted information, or upload unlawful or malicious content.
- DPPC may restrict or suspend access reasonably necessary to protect users, records or service integrity.
- Google sign-in is optional and is also governed by Google’s terms; DPPC does not control the security of your Google account.
CVs, applications and opportunities
You confirm that CV, profile and application information is accurate and that you have permission to provide it. You grant DPPC permission to store, format and share relevant application materials with the employer or client connected to an opportunity for recruitment and follow-up purposes.
Listings may be changed, paused or withdrawn. DPPC does not guarantee selection, interview, employment, course completion or a particular career result.
Fees, tax and payment
- Unless stated otherwise, displayed professional fees exclude applicable VAT; the checkout or proposal shows the applicable tax basis and total.
- Payment may be offered through a connected provider. If no online connector is available, DPPC may issue a quotation or verified manual-payment instructions.
- Do not send funds to details that do not appear in an official DPPC quotation, invoice or confirmed instruction. Third-party payment services apply their own terms.
- A quote request or checkout confirmation does not by itself mean funds have been received.
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
The cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms in the accepted proposal, invoice, event brief or programme confirmation apply to that engagement. Where no specific term was agreed, contact DPPC promptly; any refund or credit will consider work already completed, committed third-party costs and applicable consumer law.
Intellectual property and submitted content
DPPC and its licensors retain rights in the website, branding, methodologies, reports, training materials and other content. You may use delivered materials only within the licence or purpose agreed for the engagement and may not resell or republish them without permission.
You retain ownership of your submitted content. You grant DPPC the limited rights needed to host, process, format and share it to provide the requested service.
Third-party services and website availability
The website may link to or rely on external identity, payment, analytics, communications and record-management services. Their terms and availability also apply. DPPC aims to keep information current and services available, but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Professional judgement and liability
Public website information is general and is not legal, medical, tax or employment advice for a specific situation. Formal advice depends on an agreed engagement and complete instructions.
To the extent permitted by law, DPPC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that Kenyan law does not permit us to exclude. Any engagement-specific liability provision in an accepted proposal takes priority.
Governing law, disputes and updates
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith through written notice and discussion. If unresolved, Kenyan courts have jurisdiction, subject to any agreed arbitration clause and any mandatory consumer right that applies elsewhere.
We may update these terms prospectively. A new effective date will be displayed. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue.
